Studio Tuition & Policies
From tuition to attendance, here's how we partner with students & families for success.
Tuition covers 30 weekly private lessons, 4 group classes, 2 studio recitals, 2 scheduled makeup classes, and up to 8 summer theory & enrichment classes (new!). Optional examination preparation is also included.
The studio offers 2 payment options:
Due upon registration. ($68 per class; equiv. ~$200/mo)
45-minute lessons: $3,495
Due upon registration, January 1st, and April 1st.
45-minute lessons: 3 × $1,227
Full rate before pay-in-full discount: $2,520 (30-min) / $3,680 (45-min).
Families enrolling two or more students receive a $100 annual sibling tuition credit for each additional enrolled student.

Lessons take place weekly, on a fixed day & time for 30, 45 or 60 minutes according to student level. The studio is closed for the month of August, 6 days at Thanksgiving (Tuesday – Sunday), 3 weeks at Christmas/New Years, 1 week for Spring Break, and most federal holidays. Each teacher has 3 additional sick/personal days which may be used at any point during the year with no affect to the schedule.
No refund is given during holiday closures as these weeks have already been withheld in the tuition calculation. For unexpected studio closures, credits will be given and applied to the next payment. Refunds will be given to those paying annually.

Annual tuition now includes up to 8 summer theory & enrichment classes in July — a brand new addition to the studio year! Two engaging courses are offered each week, covering topics such as music theory, composition, improvisation, ear training, rhythm, music history, music technology, and more.
Students enrolled in the annual plan are welcome to attend all 8 classes at no additional cost. Class dates can be found on the Studio Calendar; full course topics will be announced in the new year.
Please note that if you opt out of summer classes, your time slot will not be reserved for the fall.
Each student may take 2 makeup classes per year during a fixed "flex week." Please visit our Studio Calendar for these dates. All other cancellations are not rescheduled or refunded.
Please note: there are NO makeup lessons in the summer as classes are pre-scheduled. Teacher cancellations that exceed 3 days will be credited to your next payment or refunded.
There is a late payment fee of $15, assessed to any unpaid bills after the 1st calendar day of each semester.
Examination fees are based on grade and range from $100–$150 per exam.
The studio accepts payment via ACH bank transfer (No fees) and credit and debit card payments (3% fee). You may conveniently set this up during registration by following the prompts.
Please note the studio does not receive any surcharge — it covers processing fees.
